The RWAF has been instrumental in changing perceptions about rabbits as pets. As a result of our campaigns, more and more people are realising that rabbits have complicated needs and aren’t cheap and easy children’s pets that can be locked in a small hutch at the end of the garden. There is still a long way to go so we’ll continue to make our voice heard to help domestic rabbits live the lives they deserve.

Rabbit friendly vet list

The RWAF is keen to put owners in touch with vets that show a greater knowledge of rabbit care through our Rabbit Friendly Vet List.

Capone Campaign

Possibly the biggest threat to rabbit welfare right now is the huge upsurge in unlicensed breeders appearing on classified ads on the internet.
