With a new year upon us, we reflect once again on the ongoing challenges facing rabbit welfare in the UK. The rescue crisis continues unabated: too many rabbits are being bred, too few suitable homes are available, and inappropriate housing and poor advice remain widespread.

It is evident that much work remains to be done to raise standards and improve outcomes for rabbits nationwide.
