Ostara

You’ve only been gone a day and I already miss you so much. Ostara was a wonderful bunny. She loved cuddles and would run to her favourite spot for strokes day and night. She was 10 years old and suffered some gut issues and arthritis over the years which worsened this last year. She had many bouts of stasis which again got worse this year and the last bout She didn’t recover from. When she was well she was a happy bunny and a “rhino” for her favourite forage, she would storm over even in her older years all excited for forage. She was so sassy too giving a little trumpet “mmhmm” and a stomp to let it be known if she disapproved of something. (She did it once when I was singing 🤣). When she was younger she used to do her trumpet sound to announce that she going to do a zoomie too. Mornings aren’t the same without her running to her spot to be cuddled. And Loki her husband misses her too. We had an amazing 6 years together after we adopted her when she was 4 years old and I wish we had more time with her. But I am also so grateful that she came into our lives and we got all the time we did. I love and miss her so much. Saying goodbye is never easy. Until we meet again, binky free Ostara 🌈 x
